About Victoria Morgan
Hi There, I'm a pilates and functional breathing instructor and my personal journey into this field started when I was experiencing health issues triggered by stress. I found pilates and it was literally life changing and I've successfully turned it into a career as well as turning my own mental and physical health around.
I have my own fully equipped home studio and teach mostly 1:1 clients. I help lots of people with back pain, joint issues and those post injury rehab (I often get referrals from physios/chiros). The breathing element to my career is a bit more recent and I've expanded into it because it has helped us as a family so much including my 2 boys (age 11 & 13) one who has had anxiety since he was a toddler and has battled with some challenging times with this and the other who has a severe peanut allergy (hence we are part of your membership). My breathing qualification has an emphasis on evidence/science based findings (rather than a spiritual focus) so we have been using the techniques to also help with controlling our asthma symptoms which is another whole area I hope to explore in more detail in the future sometime, having been inspired by hearing success stories from an NHS respiratory physio.
We have really embraced managing stress and anxiety over the last few years as a family and we have been building a toolkit of techniques to help us manage and cope day to day, week to week. My personal journey with this plus my background in the wellbeing industry has led me to want to help others on this journey. As a busy working mum myself, like many of your members im often overwhelmed with life stresses, battling with no spare time or energy and am dealing with anxious teenagers on top of my own anxieties, so I've found simple sustainable ways to integrate movement, mindfulness and breathing into daily life without too much added pressure, time or faff and I am currently building this into an online course to share with like minded people who want to take back control of anxiety.
